ITENE is focused on developing and transferring knowledge from the lab to the market. With that purpose, the research center carries out a great number of:

Some of our last success cases are:
- The improvement of the properties of recycled polyolefins and virgin PET for application in pallets, hazardous goods packaging and food bottles (REFUPLAS project).
- The obtention of biopolymers from orange peel, romanesco and FORSU waste thanks to biotechnological valorisation processes (BIOWASTE2PACK project).
- The development of technological equipment based on a capture system for the sampling and monitoring of SARS-CoV-2 bioaerosols, successfully tested in a hospital (VIRISENS project).
